Heal Our Land O Lord!

If there is famine in the land, or blight, windstorm, mildew, locusts or shearer-worms; or if their enemies besiege them in any of their cities — no matter what kind of plague or sickness it is;

then, regardless of what prayer or plea anyone among all your people Isra’el makes — for each individual will know his own plague and his own pain — and the person spreads out his hands toward this house;

then hear from heaven where you live, and forgive; also, since you know what is in each one’s heart, give each person what his conduct deserves (because you, and only you, know human hearts),

so that they will fear you and therefore live according to your ways throughout the time they live in the land you gave our ancestors. - 2 Chronicles 6:28-31

Pray, Pray, Pray! This is what we learn from these verses. You can ask if every problem will be solved if we pray. Yes, it will! You will find answers for any questions and solutions for any problems in your life. 

The above verses are prayers of King Solomon. When something bad happens or something good didn't happen in your life, He asks us to pray towards the house of the Lord (in Jerusalem), the Lord will hear the prayers from heaven and forgive your sins and bestow His goodness upon you. 

This is because King Solomon made a covenant with the Lord, that whomsoever pray towards that house of the Lord, their prayers will be heard by the Lord. 

I mention this verse because this is what happening in the world right now! So this is the time for all nations to repent of our sins and get back to our Lord God! 

Heed your hearts towards the Lord, repent of your sins, ask His forgiveness for the evil happening around us because of our prayerlessness. Intercede for your family, friends, acquaintances. 

Stand in the gap to fill the space between our people and the Lord! Sin makes that gap in between us and the Lord. Fill it, repent and pray, He will hear us and heal our land! Amen.
